BRP protests in Geneva against enforced disappearances, kill and dump and mass graves in Balochistan.

DSC_0132Baloch Republican Party Switzerland chapter held a protest demonstration near broken chair and front of United Nation office in Geneva on  Wednesday.

According to details Baloch Republican Party held protest in Geneva against military operations, attacks on Bugti refugees in Afghanistan and discovery of mass graves in Balochistan.

Nawab Brahumdagh Bugti while speaking to International media during demonstration said that  hundreds of Balochs including women and children have been killed and wounded in past few days during military operations in Dera Bugti, Mashkai, Turbat, Kohistan Marri and Panjgur. Pakistan Army used United States provided gunship helicopters and heavy weapons in recent Army operations in Dera Bugti, Kohistan Marri and Kech region of Balochistan where at least 60 people were killed, most of the victims were women and children. Hundreds of houses destroyed with IEDs by Pakistani Army during operation in these areas.

Protesters said that three mass graves were found in Khuzdar district and 169 decomposed and unidentifiable bodies were found in those graves

Protesters demanded United Nations to send it’s fact finding missions to probe into mass graves and other crimes being committed by Pakistani state forces in Balochistan. Protesters were carrying placards inscribed with slogans against enforced disappearances and kill and dump policies of Pakistani state in Balochistan.

Among the participants were Baloch Leader Nawab Brahumdagh Bugti, Mehran Marri, Noordin Mengal and human rights activist Mr Tarek Fatah while a large number of Baloch activists, local college students also joined the protest and showed their support and solidarity with oppressed Baloch nation.

Baloch leaders Nawab Brahumdagh Bugti, Mehran Marri and Noordin Mengal demanded to the international community to support the democratic struggle of Baloch people for restoration of their freedom and independent homeland.
