BRP activists held references to pay tribute to Murghap Martyrs on their fourth martyrdom anniversary.

images2Baloch Republican Party activists held references in all units to commemorate the martyrs of Murghap – Ghulam Mohammad Baloch, Sher Mohammad Baloch and Lala Munir Baloch – on their fourth martyrdom anniversary.
Respect and salutation were paid to their ideal struggle and great sacrifice for the freedom and independence of the Baloch nation and Balochistan.
Ghulam Mohammad Baloch was the chairman and leader of Baloch National Movement; Sher Mohammad Baloch was a central leader of Baloch Republican Party and Lala Munir Baloch was also a leader of the Baloch National Movement.
All three political leaders of pro-independence Baloch political parties were abducted by the personnel of armed forced and intelligence agencies of Pakistan from Turbat on April 3, 2009 in the presence of eye witnesses. After six days, on April 9, 2009, their bullet-riddled bodies were found dumped in a desolated place in Turbat called ‘Murghap’.
After the extra-judicial custodial killings of Murghap martyrs, Pakistani forces intensified the abductions and killings of Baloch activists from every breadth and corner of Balochistan, while Murghap became the favourite place for Pakistani forces for dumping the bodies of Baloch political activists and leaders.
More than 500 political activists and leaders have been killed and dumped so far, while 14,000 others are still languish in the torture cells of forces.
Besides, Pakistani forces attacked a protest demo and reference events held in remembrance of Murghap martyrs in Sui town of Dera Bugti.
Forces fired teargas shells and resorted to indiscriminate firing, resultantly injuring many protesters, including women and children.
Three people were abducted during an attack on an event held by Baloch Republican Party activists in memory of martyrs of Murghap in Sui.
The abducted men were identified as Ali Baksh Bugti, Shah Nawaz Bugti and Mian Khan Bugti. The abducted men belong to the ‘Humzani’ sub-tribe of Bugti tribe.

\The BRP beliefs that it is because of the sacred blood of Baloch martyrs that today the national struggle is gaining international attention and continues despite the harsh difficulties and hurdles on its way.
