Voice for Baloch Missing Persons (VBMP) announced to organise a seminar on Sunday 9 December at Karachi Press Club on the eve of international day of human rights.
The vice chairman of IVBMP Abdul Qadeer Baloch told Balochwarna news that, “Aim of seminar is to highlight the ongoing human rights violations including enforced-disappearances in Balochistan. Our sit-in protest in front of different Press Clubs is nearing 1000 days. We have steadfastly been protesting to highlight the issue on national and international level – our struggle is gaining international recognition now.”
Qadeer Baloch, whose son Jalil Reki was abducted and later killed in custody by Pakistani security agencies, further said leaders of different political parties, members of civil society, lawyers, human rights activists and media persons will be invited to participate in the seminar and discuss the issue of enforced-disappearances and other human rights violations in Balochistan.

Meanwhile International Voice for Baloch Missing Persons have also urged human rights activists and media persons to join the seminar of Voice for Baloch Missing Persons in Karachi to express solidarity with families of enforced-disappeared and extra-judicially killed Baloch activists.
