Three killed in Balochistan

QUETTA – Two people were shot dead and another wounded in firing incidents in Khuzdar and Hub while a body was recovered from Musakhel area of Balochistan Saturday.
According to police, unidentified gunmen opened indiscriminate fire on two people, identified as Abdul Hameed Baranzai and Muhammad Hanif, at Chamrok hotel in Khuzdar, wounding them critically. Abdul Hameed succumbed to injuries.
Police said investigation was underway; however, it could be a case of old enmity.
In another incident, a man was shot dead in Hub, an industrial town of Balochistan. Police said Elahi Bakhsh, watchman of a private hospital, was on his way when unknown armed assailants attacked him.
Police moved the body to hospital for medico-legal formalities and, later, handed over it to heirs.
Meanwhile, the local administration of Musakhel recovered a bullet-riddled body and moved it to hospital for autopsy.
Sources in Levies Force said the deceased was identified as Jan Muhammad s/o Nawab, a resident of Barkhan. The body was later shifted to morgue.
Meanwhile, two children were killed and two others wounded when the wall of a house collapsed in Mastung, some 60 kilometres away from Quetta, Saturday.
According to reports, the incident occurred in Azizabad area of Mastung when the wall of Ghous Bakhsh’s house caved in. The deceased were identified as Abdul Qadir and Shahzaib. The locals rushed to the site and retrieved the victims from the debris. Local administration has started investigation into the incident.
